Connector needs a subdomain · HTTP 400

What causes this

This provider is reached at a customer-specific host. OAuth authorize URLs may contain {subdomain} / {shop}, or the catalog hint is a wildcard.

How to fix it

Collect the subdomain in the widget or portal and send instance_host on connect/start. Salesforce also stores instance_url from the token response.
